🚀 OSAKA, JAPAN — Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University (KPRU), in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), is proudly presenting its cutting-edge research and innovation at the 2026 Japan Design, Idea and Invention Expo (JDIE 2026). The international exhibition takes place from July 3–4, 2026, at the Kansai Airport Conference Halls in Osaka, Japan.
🚀 The KPRU delegation is led by President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeyanuch Prompasit, alongside a team of executive researchers including vice-President Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayada Klinchan, Director of the Research and Development Institute Asst. Prof. Dr. Saowalak Yodwinyuwong, and Head of the Center of Excellence in Food Innovation and Food Contact Materials Asst. Prof. Dr. Anek Hali.
🚀 Supported by the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) and Chizai Corporation, JDIE 2026 features over 92 inventions and innovations from 41 organizations, spanning 22 diverse categories such as agriculture, health, environmental, and multimedia design.
🚀 Highlighting the "Personal-care Products" category, KPRU is showcasing a revolutionary Future Food innovation developed under the "Reinventing University" project: the Enzymatically Hydrolyzed Cocoa Bean Protein Products. This innovation transforms locally sourced cocoa beans into high-quality, plant-based protein. It is naturally rich in antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and slow down cellular aging. Furthermore, it contains theobromine and phenylethylamine to promote relaxation and boost mood, along with flavonoids that enhance blood circulation and brain function—making it an ideal product for the modern health-conscious consumer.
🚀 This prominent international showcase marks a significant milestone in KPRU’s mission to elevate local community development through high-value food innovations. By successfully translating academic research into practical, commercial applications, KPRU’s Center of Excellence is actively supporting local entrepreneurs, pushing Kamphaeng Phet’s creative economy onto the global stage, and establishing a sustainable business ecosystem that significantly uplifts the grassroots economy.
