Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University and the Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Employment Office signed an MOU to upgrade digital skills and labor skill standards, aiming to create a "new generation of graduates" to meet the demands of the digital job market.

KPRU NEWS: Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University and Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Department of Skills Development Sign MOU to Upgrade Digital Skills and Labor Skill Standards, Aiming to Create "New Generation Graduates" to Meet the Needs of the Digital Job Market.

✍️ On March 31, 2026, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, through its Faculty of Science and Technology, continued its academic collaboration by holding a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Department of Skills Development. This collaboration aims to develop curricula and labor skill standard testing, enhancing the potential of students and local workforce to meet the current industrial demands. The signing ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Priyanuch Phromphasit, President of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, and Mr. Mana Poonbankhaek, Director of the Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Department of Skills Development, at the Dararat Meeting Room, 4th Floor, General Education and Administration Building (Building 14).
✍️ This MOU outlines a 3-year collaboration focusing on integrated resource sharing. This includes improvements in personnel, lecturers, and resources to drive key activities such as developing minor courses and short-term training programs focusing on reskilling and upskilling in digital skills; developing a credit bank system for transferring training and work experience into the education system; and promoting the establishment of an in-university skills testing center.

✍️ In addition, interesting operational approaches were presented by the core working groups, led by the Computer Science program, which presented the structure of its minor course to produce graduates specializing in information technology, and the Lifelong Learning and Professional Standards Development Center (LPC), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ploypan Sonsuvit, which presented a new type of graduate program to create unlimited educational opportunities for the general public.
